Recently, St. Francis Hospital of Poughkeepsie was acquired by Westchester Medical Center, which is not participating with the Health Republic MagnaCare network. Because of this ownership change, the new name of this hospital is MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center, and will not be participating with the Health Republic MagnaCare network effective August 9, 2014.
Lower Hudson Valley Health Republic members will have an alternative hospital option of Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
