Beginning February 1st, 2012, all New York State employers are required to give the “Notice and Acknowledgment of Pay Rate and Payday” form to each current employee annually, on or before February 1st of each year. Additionally, this form must be given to all new hires on their first date of employment before the employee begins any work. It is important to note that this form must be given to the employee in English as well as in the language identified by each employee as his/her primary language.
